- What about me? I believe that art can be both simple and perfect, if you don't have the time to make it perfect, rethink the idea. I believe that you shouldn't know someone's race, sex, sexual preference, religion, or even age, by simply looking at their artwork. I believe that too often in art and life, arrogance is used to hide ignorance. I believe that fine artists and commercial artists should be allowed to drink from the same water fountains, and sit side by side in restaurants, and on buses, and possibly intermarry. I believe that cheese, real cheese not the food they feed cheese, is best served warm. Yes, I believe art is good, like warm cheese.
